Overview
The Brackett BA2605L is an FAA-PMA certified, disposable air filter element designed for the left-hand (LH) engine of specific twin-engine aircraft. This is the official replacement element for the Brackett BA-2610L Filter Assembly. It is not a complete filter housing but the high-performance, "throw-away" foam element that provides superior engine protection.
This filter element is engineered with a dual-stage, specially treated polyurethane foam. This advanced design effectively captures dust, dirt, and other airborne contaminants while ensuring a high volume of clean, unrestricted airflow to the engine. The BA2605L is fire-retardant, repels water (making it ideal for seaplane operations), and offers a 98% efficiency rating.
